Capacity to work well as a team, but solve problems with independent thinking.Ability to develop a range of primary and secondary skills to support a small team.High latent capability and willingness to learn new skills and quickly deploy them.Evidence of related, successfully engineered solutions.Relevant application experience with similar algorithms, hardware, and systems.Possession of appropriate knowledge and skills to make near term contributions. They will work under the direction of ATA’s technical fellow, who oversees advanced processing for pointing and tracking solutions.Ĭompensation for these positions will be above industry averages and will be based on the following: The successful candidate will report as an engineer within ATA’s embedded systems group. The candidate will proactively work with ATA imaging systems to collect field data, simulation imagery, and hand-crafted feature vectors that support algorithm development, training, and verification.ĪTA will provide related training and senior leadership, while availing testbed hardware, processing electronics, tools, and new equipment to support buildup and field test of advanced processing capabilities. Solutions developed by this engineer will be integrated with the capabilities mapped into FPGA SoC hardware above to realize high performance, multi-function video processing systems. They will apply machine and deep learning to real-time inference at the edge using small form factor Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) or Field Programmable Gate Arrays-System on Chip (FPGA SoC). Initial applications will deliver upgrades and enhancements to ATA’s existing solutions for precision object tracking, security and surveillance, and laser communication systems.Ī qualified candidate has a solid background in algorithms and data science. These systems integrate modern video processing machine learning functions for: automatic detection, object recognition, tracking, pose estimation, intelligent control, and video enhancement. This group is focused on developing products for real-time, near-sensor video processing. As part of our recent merger with Blue Halo, ATA is making substantial corporate investments to build out a new, multi-disciplinary, computer vision team.
